This Saturday I had my third Carcassonne tournament. We set a new record of activity: 19 people came to play, many of them - first time visitors on tournaments. I received only positive feedback, many participants asked how often such events occur. I just invited them to visit my monthly game nights, because my tournament occurs only once a year
All 33 expansion that I have were involved, luckily I had some helpers that could explain the rules to the newbies. There were 4 groups with 5 participants, one group was shorthanded by one. Last year's winner zone2 won the group without losses, but suddenly lost in QF. For the final randomly were picked 2 expansions "Sheep and Hills" and "German Cloisters", and it was won by 6 points by permanent participant Martins.
Photo-report can be seen here. Also there are all group stage and final stage tables with results. One game was lost because one player was run out of time (25 minutes each, expansion - Plague). Of course, you can use google translate to understand the text, but I already told you the main idea
I liked the event very much, as much as all other participants. Same applies to the format - group stage format was much better than double elimination, so I will continue to use it in the future tournaments.

Hej MrNumbers,
good to hear from you again.
Thanks for the good and interesting report of your wonderful tournament. Seems that it's already an established event in Riga.
Cheers
Benny
PS: Your Meeple-Picture-Frame is a very nice "universal" gift ;) (seen on your website as a price for the winner Martins)

Hi MrNumbers,
as always - that was really a great tournament.
At CarcC we talked about the score lists...
Here is the x-score list made by kettlefish.
The x-score list as a pdf file.
At CarcC I can't upload a pdf - so you have it here from CarcF.
